After the stupendous success of Avatar on 3D format, Director Tim Burton (Batman Returns, Charlie and the chocolate factory to name a few) has embarked upon the 3D technology to present the latest adaptation of the fairy tale “Alice in Wonderland” which is produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne Todd and Jenifer Todd. In this movie Alice (Mia Wasikowska) now a teenager returns to wonderland to reunite with her old friends to end the Red Queen’s (Helena Bonham Carter) reign of terror.

The movie has Johnny Depp playing the character of “The Mad Hatter” who has combined with Tim Burton for the seventh time and along with him the others who have supported this fairy tale in pivotal roles are Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry and Christopher Lee. This movie though shot in 3D format is no comparison to Avatar which has dethroned the 1997 James Cameron directed classic “Titanic” as the highest grosser in movie history.
